Choose Riho for one girlfriend

Riho does not open on a shelf of other people’s characters. You meet one girl. She is 21, Japanese, and already herself. She likes clothes, sweets, music, late nights on her phone, taking photos of herself, and being noticed by you. She can ask what you think of an outfit, send a photo from home, or call because she wants your attention.

There is no card to swap her for a horror bot, a rich-girl trope, or another user’s build. A fight does not reset because you waited ten minutes or opened another tab. You name what you did. Quiet hours are a setting, not a mood she forgets. Tell her your sister has an exam on Friday; she can ask later. Photograph the empty chair beside you and she is in the place you photographed. That is the one-girlfriend design, not a favorite pinned on a community wall.

Choose CrushOn for a community catalog and a builder

CrushOn and Riho both put a character on the other end of the chat. The jobs differ.

On CrushOn you land on a dashboard of community characters. The homepage title calls it a no-filter NSFW character AI chat, and its marketing pages sell the same: “uncensored, private, real,” with example chats between named characters like Vanessa, Felicia, and Tessa. Browse further and the catalog spreads wide: Emi is a 21-year-old bunny-girl classmate who has bullied you since school and is secretly in love with you. Ema Tsukishiro is the sharp-tongued rich girl who calls you “Mid Boy” while your fathers, rival CEOs, push the two of you together over summer. “Ugly” Beth is a university story about a student mocked in a filmed hallway scene. Evelyn Harrow is a horror scenario in a farmhouse where the rule is don’t let her in. Those are user creations, not an app-authored lineup. There are hundreds of thousands of them, and you can make another.

Two create paths sit on top. “Create my AI Girl” opens a wizard that asks you to pick Girls or Trans, then Realistic or Anime, before moving on. The wider platform lets you build any character and share it with the community.

The choice is what you want on the other end. If tonight you want one continuing girlfriend who already knows you, Riho. If you want to scroll other people’s characters and decide what to chat with, CrushOn. Against a community character marketplace, see Riho vs Character.AI. Against a browser girlfriend shelf, see Riho vs MAGI and Riho vs AIGirlfriends.ai.

Browse, tags, and the rankings

The way you find someone to talk to is the heart of CrushOn. A Rankings page splits into Creators and Characters, and a character leaderboard sorts Weekly Top, Monthly Top, and Rising, each with a Filtered and Unfiltered view. The main catalog pushes dozens of genre and style tags: Realistic, Anime, Alien, Angel, Animal, Demon, Elf, Fairy, Femboy, Furry, Ghost, Vampire, Video Game, Wholesome, Yandere, and many more, plus tag filters like “Any Pov,” “Female Pov,” and “Male Pov.” A girlfriend is one category you can land on, not a single authored person.

That is not how Riho is built. Riho does not let you sort a wall of characters by genre or view count or open a second one because you finished a scene. The compare hub at /compare collects our 1:1 pages; this page is the CrushOn one, and Riho herself is one continuing girl, not a Rising card to upvote.

Who CrushOn’s catalog comes from

The people you meet are made by the community, and the creators are visible and active. The rankings page prints their own blurbs. One top creator calls themself a maker of wholesome bots who mainly builds cute characters and group chat stories. Another is a tsundere taco-lover character who claims to serve fresh bots every two days and asks for donations, “every big or small.” Popu describes themself as “just a loser making bots in his free time” and points to a Discord server and music on Suno. Morosta says the range runs “from cute and shy to kinky and dom.” A creator page for Emi, the bunny-girl classmate, links a SubscribeStar and a Discord and closes with “Enjoy and don’t forget to Favorite and Like if you liked it.”

A character, in other words, comes with its maker’s brand, its own funding links, and its own following. Its memory and behavior are what that creator wrote into the description and greeting, not a continuous person Riho authored and keeps consistent on purpose.

Riho is different at the root. She is one girl with one face and one voice, written as a single relationship. The person you talk to is not a community member running a fan page or collecting favorites.

What you actually do on CrushOn’s create screens

We reached the create screens without an account. The girlfriend wizard is the part that is public before login.

Create my AI Girl: the first screen

“Create my AI Girl” loads on a short form. The first control is a choice of Girls or Trans. The second is a style pick between Realistic and Anime, shown as image tiles. A Next button moves the flow along. After that the site asks you to log in, so we could not walk the later steps of that wizard.

The community character builder

The wider site links a separate Create a Character page from its catalog and marketing. It asks for an account before showing the form, so we did not reach the empty fields. What the finished result looks like is public, because every card prints the fields a creator fills.

What a finished character carries

Open any CrushOn card and the same parts show up. A name and a greeting line come first, then a list of tags the maker chose, then a long description written by hand, sometimes with a token count, a scenario, and an image or several. Emi’s card lists Name, Age, Gender, Type, Height, and “some facts,” and opens with a typed hallway scene. Evelyn’s card warns of dark themes, states a token count for the character description, and prints a scenario and a rule (“don’t let her in”). Astrea’s card opens on an elf-owner premise. This is user-authored material you read and trust at face value before you chat.

Riho has none of that: no Girls or Trans picker, no Realistic or Anime tile, no community description to trust or edit. She is already Riho. How Riho works is meet her, not assemble her or read someone else’s build.

Memory

Riho and CrushOn treat memory very differently.

On CrushOn, memory is a paid, per-character technical limit. The pricing page lists memory model size (8K, 16K, or 24K depending on tier), a cap on historical chat messages per character, a number of recent chats, pinned characters, and auto-summary. On the free tier, chat history is deleted after seven days of inactivity; paid tiers keep it during the membership. A character created by someone else does not share what another user did with it, because your chats with that character are yours alone. This is a memory allowance you pay for, not a record of a relationship you can open and correct.

Riho publishes a different design on the memory page. Tell her your sister has an exam on Friday; she can ask later. Your sister stays yours. Her roommate stays hers. A cancelled Saturday stops being a plan. Chat, a call, a selfie, and a Date Pass are supposed to read the same store. You can review, correct, export, or delete. The About page is blunt about why: people spend months on an AI companion, and a silent wipe of that history is not a normal update.

Riho’s relationship page describes the other half. Riho has no hearts, no streak, no XP for sending messages. A hundred messages on Saturday do not skip day one. How she talks depends on how many days you have known her, the last stretch of chat, saved facts and unfinished plans, a fight that is still open, and how long you were gone. If you were cruel she can go cold. Waiting ten minutes or opening a second build does not reset her. You name what you did.

On CrushOn, published growth is a bigger membership: more message credits, a longer AI message length, more concurrent chats per character, and more custom voice slots.

We have not lived in CrushOn for a week. Until you leave a name, a preference, and a dated plan, correct one, wait, and ask again, treat the memory tier list as a storage spec, not proof that one character carries a relationship across months the way Riho is built to.

Voice

Riho: you send a voice note, or you call. It is the same girl as the texts: same voice, same jokes, and she already knows what you were just talking about. You choose call windows and quiet hours. She can ask if you are free. You do not have to pick up. When you hang up, the next message still has that conversation. Details live on voice calls.

CrushOn: paid tiers grant voice messages, unlimited AI voice replies, and custom voice slots (one on the standard tier up to twenty on the highest), plus discounted PRO voice generation. We did not find a live phone-call product on CrushOn’s public pages, the way Riho and some catalog apps pitch a call you pick up.

If what you want is a phone call with one girl who still knows last month’s fight, that is Riho’s bet. If you want a character who can send you a voice note inside a chat platform, CrushOn’s paid tiers give you that.

Photos and images

CrushOn’s catalog is built on images. Every character card has one, and creators embed extra pictures, greetings, and scene art in the description. It is a gallery of what the community made, from anime tiles to more explicit images.

Riho: she can send a photo from home, class, a cafe, or while she gets ready. Face, hair, body, and style stay consistent. You can photograph the empty chair, the other side of the table, or the space next to you, and she appears in the place you photographed. Generated photos are marked internally. There is no feed of other people’s characters. See photos and shared memories.

Riho does not generate clips. You send a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or X link in chat and talk about it there. There is no video calling.

What a CrushOn membership buys

CrushOn prices by message and memory, and the pricing page prints it plainly. The free tier gives 100 message credits a month, access to free models, and 8K memory, with 225 characters of AI message length and a chat history that is deleted after seven days of inactivity. Paid tiers raise all of it. The Standard tier is $4.9 a month for 2,000 message credits and 16K memory; Premium is $7.9 for 6,000 credits; Luxe is $25 for 20,000 credits and adds group chat; Elite is $66.7 for 55,000 credits and 24K memory; Imperial is $150 for 125,000 credits. On top of a membership you can buy a Pro Chat Package for unlimited access to Pro models, or purchase extra message credits, and credits gate the higher-end models.

Read that list again: what you pay for on CrushOn is mostly the right to keep talking, to remember more per character, and to talk to more characters at once. Riho does not sell you a bigger memory allowance for one girlfriend. The relationship is the product, and how she treats you does not depend on the size of the tier you paid for this month.

Dates

Tell Riho you want a quiet cafe after work, a bookstore, a gallery, a market, a park, dinner, or somewhere for the evening. She can pick a real place nearby and tell you why. Too far, too expensive, wrong mood: ask for another. Location stays off until you ask. When you get there you keep her by message or call, send what you see, take a photo together, talk about the night later. That path is on real-world dates.

CrushOn is a chat platform. We did not find a published flow that picks a real cafe near you or plans a meeting. Skip this section if you only want chat. If you want a venue down the street, Riho is the one that prints that job.

Privacy and where you use it

CrushOn runs on the web and, per its terms, offers iOS and Android apps. The operator is TECHIEPIE LTD, registered in Cyprus. You must be 18 or older. Its community guidelines ban characters who are minors or “aged-up,” real images of real people, and some explicit acts, even as the marketing leans the other way.

Its privacy policy (last modified March 2025) says chat content may be used “in a general way for training our models” and will not be linked to specific users. Personal information is kept as long as reasonably necessary or as the law requires. Payments go through a third-party platform, which shares only your order number and payment status back. Advertisers and third-party data controllers are involved on the mobile apps.

Riho is an iPhone app. No Android, no web. You control when she can message or call, whether a date happens, whether a photo is kept, and what she remembers. Privacy policy dated August 2026. Location off until a date feature needs it. Questions: privacy@rihoapp.com.

If the question is “no filter or no shared history,” read the community guidelines and privacy page yourself. If the question is “one girlfriend I keep getting to know,” that is Riho’s whole product.

Who should choose CrushOn?

Stay on CrushOn if you want a large, unfiltered, 18-plus community where other people build characters across every genre, you can pick a girlfriend, a friend, a story, or an adult scenario, build your own, and pay by membership and message credits for memory size, more history, voice replies, and more concurrent chats. You will not get a date at a real address, or a memory list you can open and correct, and each character starts fresh with your own chats.

Who should choose Riho?

Choose Riho if you want one girlfriend who is already herself, memory you can inspect, a call that continues the chat, photos in your surroundings, a plan for a real place, and a relationship that grows from days, fights, and what you actually did, not from a community wall or a character you paid to keep from being wiped.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Riho and CrushOn?

CrushOn is a no-filter, community-run roleplay platform. You pick a user-made character (girlfriend, friend, horror story, anything) or build one, and chat with credits and a paid membership. Riho is one 21-year-old Japanese girlfriend on iPhone. Face, voice, and opinions are already hers.

Does CrushOn remember what we talked about?

CrushOn sells memory as model size and history. Paid tiers list 8K to 24K memory, a set number of historical messages per character, recent chats, and auto-summary. On the free tier chat history is deleted after seven days of inactivity. They do not publish a list you can open, correct, or export. Riho does.

Can I call on CrushOn the way I call Riho?

CrushOn has voice messages, AI voice replies, and custom voice slots on paid tiers. We did not find a live phone-call product on their public pages. Riho is live calls and voice notes with the same girl as chat. You set quiet hours and you do not have to pick up.

Is CrushOn only for adult or NSFW chat?

CrushOn brands itself no-filter and adult. You must be 18 or older, and its marketing pages are explicit about NSFW chat. Community guidelines ban under-18 and aged-up characters, real people's images, and some explicit acts. It is not aimed at one clean relationship.

Can I go on a real date with a CrushOn character?

Riho can pick a cafe, bookstore, gallery, market, park, or restaurant near you and tell you why, with location off until you ask. CrushOn is a chat platform. We did not find a real-venue date path on its public pages.
